DBT-EST Information

What is it

A DBT informed skills training workshop that is aimed to help support the social environment of the ones we love who are struggling.

Who it's for

Loved ones (parents, partners, friends, family, etc.) of those in our lives that are struggling and we need help. This group is open to the public should you believe it will benefit you.

How much

$350 (due prior to starting. 50% off for any additional family members. Resources will be provided if you miss any days.

What are the Goals??

  • Better understand our loved ones who are suffering

  • Increase our own skillfulness

  • Express ourselves more effectively

  • Identify and change unhelpful relational patterns

  • Reduce caregiver burnout

  • Handle crises more effectively

Getting Started and Workshop Agreements

Once you sign up, a member of our team will reach out to collect some basic information. We will want to make sure you thoroughly have read this page and agree to the conditions of this workshop.

  1. Maintain confidentiality of any personal information of members from this workshop.

  2. Support one another, especially by being present in the workshop and taking a nonjudgmental stance towards other members.

  3. Acknowledge that this workshop is not psychotherapy nor a replacement to therapy. 

  4. Intend to come prepared and make time to practice between meetings what we learn.

  5. Participate in any data collection/feedback so as to assess the effectiveness of this workshop.

  6. Pay agreed upon fees in a timely manner.​
